We’re All Shopping for a Summer Holiday
Does the time of the year that a consumer plans to book a holiday on, or what they buy for a holiday affect which types of marketing campaigns they are most likely to engage with? With the dawn of summer, Media iQ has looked into the shopping behaviour of consumers.
We looked at all the channels these shoppers used while booking their holidays. This comprised about 49% people booking trips online, while 50% researching on mobile before booking a holiday. And while sunglasses top the list (44%) of top travel items purchased, swimsuits are not behind (7%). There are a number of stand-out insights such as these.
