While there has been a significant rise in the number of fans travelling from Australia, UK and France to watch the tournament, Europe accounts for 41% of the fan base. Entertainment and Media brands, reigned over TV advertising, followed by financial brands.
Fans were 89% more likely to watch the match from home, while 35% prefer pubs to watch the match while chugging down a cold can of beer with friends.
