February 5th, 2016, saw over 150 data scientists and prominent executives from companies that are in the analytical space attend the India Analytics and Big Data Summit.
Prabhu Prakash Ganesh, CTO, Media iQ, was invited to present his thoughts on how big data analytics is helping clients unlock actionable insights.
The summit saw industry leaders in a fast-growing analytics community speak on topics such as ‘key emerging trends in big data’, ‘role of real time big data analytics in social media’ etc., to name a few. The sessions also included innovative case studies from senior-level executives in the analytics and data science space.
Prabhu gave an overview of some of the challenges we faced at Media iQ’s R&D and tech hub, the choices we have made and technologies we have built and used. He emphasized on the need for building a data science team and integrating their outputs into day to day business operations. The session that lasted 45 minutes was intended to share Media iQ’s experience in the analytics and programmatic advertising space, and thereby provide insightful takeaways for any company embarking on a journey in analytics.
