YOUR OPPORTUNITY

MiQ is looking for a Team Lead to work in our Development team that builds our proprietary platform AiQ.

AiQ is a Cloud only Microservice based platform that handles our real time and API based integrations with our buying platforms as well encompasses our front end business operation products such as our campaign management, optimisation and visualisation products. Our team is constantly building more such new products, platforms and systems for internal and external business consumption.

In this role you would be working with a small team of talented developers making infrastructural solutions for helping other teams in our organization transition to a microservices architecture. We are focusing on problems like messaging, service discovery, centralized logging, monitoring, authentication, etc. which are common across teams wanting to migrate to microservices.

You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, mentoring them, doing their performance appraisals, interacting with product managers, stakeholders, developers from other teams, participate in architecture/ design discussions while also doing hands on coding.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay on top of what is happening in the team across all workstreams.
  • Good and effective communication with PMs, product owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Responsible for timely deliverables within the team.
  • Responsible for conducting agile ceremonies and acting as a scrum master.
  • Responsible for mentoring team members and doing their performance review.
  • Participate in design and development of the modules and functionalities as desired.
  • Code review peer code and mentor junior developers.
  • Focus on adopting mature CI/CD activities and increase automation to reduce delivery time
  • Keep up to date with the evolving technological landscape and apply them to Media IQ use cases
  • Interact with stakeholders (developers/PMs in other teams) to understand their requirements
  • Evangelise the product solutions and make sure that it is being adopted by all teams.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years experience working with JAVA languages
  • Experience with microservice architectures
  • Experience working with high performance distributed applications
  • Good knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience in high level design and low level design
  • Experience in people management with a people first approach

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is a must

THE ROLE

MEDIA iQ is looking for a Senior IT security specialist engineer, who can own the information and data security at Media iQ. The ideal candidate is someone who has skills, expertise and experience in information security and data protection practices, process and tools. This person would be reporting to the CTO and is expected to work closely with the Devops team and the engineering and data science functions. The candidate is responsible for safeguard of information systems and data assets by identifying and solving potential risks and actual security problems. The candidate will analyse where security breaches may occur or have occurred, and repair or strengthen systems against such breaches. This relates to the systems and networks used by company to manage their data and information technology in the cloud as well as in their office premises. The person is likely to have expertise in working with different types of computer networks and environments – cloud computing, laptop/desktop, software applications and mobile technologies. Whilst based in their Bangalore office, this person will also be expected to work with IT engineers and consultants in other office locations to implement the necessary security infrastructure process and policies globally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Protects office network and systems by defining and implementing access privileges, controls and remote access protocols.
  • Works with Devops Team to implement the necessary access controls and privileges on cloud resources.
  • Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations.
  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation, evaluating trends and anticipating future needs

THE ROLE

MiQ is looking for a Senior Campaign Analyst to work in the Media Analysis team. This role involves providing optimisation strategies and insights to the traders. This team plays a significant role in end to end campaign management cycle. The media analysis team works across multiple geographies is a second arm to our primary delivery team – traders.

The right candidate will have data analysis expertise and hands on experience of working with data using analytical software. The candidate is required to have experience in information mining and translating data into actionable insights for better campaign optimisation. This team also works closely with other business units such R&D & Tech based out of Bangalore.

The role will report into the Analytics Team Lead of the respective Geo. To succeed in this role, you will work closely with your peers and mentors. Your key stakeholders will include the Heads of various analysis teams (campaign, sales/marketing and R&D) in BLR, and the product team in UK. You will be supported by your peers and experts across many fields who will help you succeed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities will include:

Campaign Performance:

  • Be accountable for end to end campaign management & delivery of the assigned campaigns
  • Ensure campaign hits performance targets by providing the right optimisation strategies
  • Ensure adoption of all R&D products across your campaigns and work closely with the team to provide feedback
  • Deep dive into massive data sets to answer key business questions using Hive, SQL, excel and other data manipulation languages

Insights:

  • Ensure world class insights are delivered by utilising all our rich data

This person will work closely with the different development teams, own management of our infrastructure, streamline build, monitoring and alerting mechanisms and automate deployment of products in different environments. We also expect this person to be recommending best practices and automation tools in the Dev Ops space, and incorporate them into the different products and work streams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own management of infrastructure, build, deploy, monitoring and alerting capabilities across different work streams
  • Automate build, deployment, monitoring, and administration of web applications and underlying services on AWS and other cloud infrastructure platforms

THE ROLE

MEDIA iQ are looking for a VP of Data science, who can lead the business in the field of Advanced Analytics/Data science and this is a key senior management position in the India team. The ideal candidate is someone who has a breadth of skills, expertise and experience in analytics domain and has strong management experience in building and scaling data science teams. The ideal candidate would have organically grown through the ranks, having been hands-on in successfully designed, developed and deployed large scale software and analytical products and recently has been in high ranking management/leadership positions in data science teams owning all things operationally in such teams.

This person would be reporting to the CTO and is expected to own the Data Science function and team in the technology department. The candidate will be expected to be a central part of how the Data science department functions day to day whilst also having critical input into the formulation of strategies to scale the department in-line with ambitions Media iQ engenders. To elaborate, the candidate is responsible for the delivery of MEDIA iQ’s analytical products in the roadmap, owns the timely release of these to world class quality standards, guides and mentors the Data Scientists in the team to successfully execute. Also, the candidate stays one step ahead, identifies bottlenecks and challenges that are likely to come up in terms of personnel, process, methodologies and tools and make appropriate choices in handling and addressing those. To summarise, this person owns all deliverables in the Data science team, is someone who can understand what is needed from an execution standpoint,  and will insure a highly motivated and talented team executes proficiently and ensures they see projects and initiatives through to completion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities will include:

 -Manage the Trading team

  • Leverage your experience to enhance the individual experience of each Trader
  • Ensure all team members have Personal Development Plans
  • Weekly meetings with each Trader to run through their campaigns with the view of firstly enhanced retention and secondly enhanced margins

-Process Invention, Deployment and Monitoring

  • Working with team members and management, create processes which will aid the business
  • Ensure new and existing processes are deployed in the most efficient fashion
  • Ensure new and existing processes are adhered to by all relevant stakeholders

 

-Communication with Media iQ Management

  • Collaborate with pod department leads on forecasting and reporting on strategy and performance
  • Communicate effectively the pod strategy to Media iQ Management
  • Communicate effectively the pod strategy to members of the pod

 

-Commercial Trading Lead across 4 of the Holding Groups & Independent Agencies

  • Working with the Sales Account Directors on pod strategy
  • Working with the Sales Account Directors on key accounts strategy
  • Lead trader conversations with key clients across a range of subjects, as well as support more junior members of the team in external meetings

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Solutions Engineer you will be responsible for translating client’s commercial challenges into cutting edge technical solutions. Including:

  • Managing existing Enterprise clients and projects – ensuring projects and deliverables are delivered in a timely fashion to a high standard.
  • Consulting existing clients, helping them to enhance existing solutions further.
  • Architecting technical solutions to solve business challenges, and implementing them with the support of a wider delivery team.
  • Assisting the sales team and supporting business development efforts. Getting under the skin of a client’s business challenge and helping to present the appropriate product or solution to address this need.
  • Help shape the product suite and roadmap of the Enterprise team.

You will play a critical, generalist role involving all elements of client on-boarding, servicing, relationship development, business development and product management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a technical media / data role.
  • Client/Advertiser facing experience preferable.
  • Ideal candidates will have come from an agency tech department, DMP or agency trading desk.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Basic SQL.
  • Proven track record having worked in identifying, architecting and implementing appropriate solutions that address specific business needs.
  • Desire to solve commercial issues with technical solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

THE OPPORTUNITY

MiQ is looking for a technically hands-on Senior Software Engineer in Test (SSDET)  to work in our Technology team that builds our proprietary platform AiQ.

AiQ is a Cloud only Microservice based platform that handles our real time and API based integrations with our buying platforms as well encompasses our front end business operation products such as our campaign management, optimisation and visualisation products. Our team is constantly building more such new products, platforms and systems for internal and external business consumption.

You will have the opportunity to design and develop test plans and test end to end software components and systems from ground up and have ownership of them. You will be part of agile teams that utilize CI and CD pipelines to speed up the products’ time to market.

Your key stakeholders would include the leads of various teams (development, campaign analysis, trading, sales/marketing).  You will be supported by your peers and experts across many fields who will help you succeed.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a solid understanding of the product design as well as how end-users expect it to work
  • Ensuring that all deliverables adhere to our world class standards
  • Work with the development team to coordinate releases to production environment
  • Write test plans & test cases based on the business requirements and use-case specifications
  • Understand Objectives of Performance Testing and convert into a plan of action
  • Develop test scripts using the chosen Performance Testing Tool / Solution
  • Develop test scripts for Testing APIs or Services.
  • Automate the tests using automation frameworks
  • Manually test new products and features and perform regression testing

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience (4+ years) as a SDET engineer for a multi-tier web applications on cloud platforms
  • Excellent knowledge & experience in Performance (Stress and Scale) testing
  • Good knowledge of APIs testing
  • Good knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Selenium)
  • Experience in programing and scripting  languages (e.g. Java, Python, Shell, Perl)
  • Exposure with relational databases, SQL and ORM frameworks is a plus
  • Understanding of Big Data technologies and Distributed systems is a plus
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure is a plus

Job Description

Our business is never standing still, but constantly innovating and improving. It is the Product Team’s responsibility to drive a lot of this innovation by coordinating internal and 3rd party resources in order to deliver roadmap items which advance the business technologically and satisfy our short and long-term objectives. The Product Manager is required to take ownership of roadmap items and work with R&D and technical teams to turn client needs into marketable products. Furthermore they are required to coordinate with sales, marketing, trading and campaign analysis in order to ensure that products work for the business. Over the course of the next 12 months the product team will be focused on achieving market leadership in areas such as cross-screen advertising, programmatic branding and mobile location.
