THE OPPORTUNITY

MiQ is looking for a Senior Analyst to work in the Media Analysis team. This role involves providing optimisation strategies and insights to the traders. This team plays a significant role in end to end campaign management cycle. The media analysis team works across multiple geographies is a second arm to our primary delivery team – traders.

The right candidate will have data analysis expertise and hands on experience of working with data using analytical software. The candidate is required to have experience in information mining and translating data into actionable insights for better campaign optimisation. This team also works closely with other business units such R&D & Tech based out of Bangalore.

The role will report into the Analytics Team Lead of the respective Geo. To succeed in this role, you will work closely with your peers and mentors. Your key stakeholders will include the Heads of various analysis teams (campaign, sales/marketing and R&D) in Bangalore, and the product team in UK. You will be supported by your peers and experts across many fields who will help you succeed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITITES

Your main responsibilities will include:

Campaign Performance

  •  Deep dive into massive data sets to answer key business questions using SQL,excel and other data manipulation language
  •  Ensure adoption of all R&D products across your campaigns and work closely with the team to provide feedback
  • Ensure campaign hits performance targets by providing the right optimisation strategies
  • Be accountable for end to end campaign management & delivery of the assigned campaigns

  • Ensure world class insights are delivered by utilising all our rich data

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  •  2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, research, business intelligence and data warehousing tools, or comparable consumer analytics solutions
  • Advanced skills using SQL, excel for large data set manipulation is a must
  •  R and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets will be definite plus
  •  Have experience in delivering any analytical and/or quantitative projects (including ability to effectively use tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, R visualisation, Excel and Power BI etc.,)
  •  Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.

The Role

The Opportunity:

Media iQ is looking for an Associate Trader based in New York City. The successful candidate will be empowered to directly trade and execute programmatic media campaigns across a diverse portfolio of business. The Associate Trader position is at the heart of Media iQ’s business, providing a unique link between commercial and analysis functions. The Associate Trader will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Sales, Client Services, Product, Analysis and R&D teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • End to end campaign ownership
  • Campaign performance monitoring
  • Internal and external (client) reporting
  • Consistent daily analysis and optimization
  • Buying / bidding across multiple DSPs and platforms
  • Grow client business via surpassing KPIs, delivering insights and building relationships
  • Leverage internal campaign management and business intelligence tools
  • Custom campaign planning, management and reporting
  • Work with Media iQ global central departments to aid in any of the following:
    • Ad operation
    • Pre-campaign Analysis
    • Post-campaign insight reporting

 

Required Skills

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential
  • The ability to work with large datasets in Excel files and BI internal tools

Job Description

Our business is never standing still, but constantly innovating and improving. It is the Product Team’s responsibility to drive a lot of this innovation by coordinating internal and 3rd party resources in order to deliver roadmap items which advance the business technologically and satisfy our short and long-term objectives. The Product Manager is required to take ownership of roadmap items and work with R&D and technical teams to turn client needs into marketable products. Furthermore they are required to coordinate with sales, marketing, trading and campaign analysis in order to ensure that products work for the business. Above all, this person must work at pace to iteratively deliver products that are always ahead of competing offerings.
Over the course of the next 12 months the product team will be focused on achieving market leadership in areas such as cross-screen advertising, programmatic branding and mobile location. In the long-term the Product Manager is required to push our business forwards so that it can exploit the latest technologies and media outlets in the market.

THE ROLE

MiQ is looking for  Campaign Analyst to work in the Media Analysis team. This role involves providing optimisation strategies and insights to the traders. You will get the opportunity to  play a significant role in end to end campaign management cycle. You get to be a part of our media analysis team that works across multiple geographies and  second arm to our primary delivery team – traders.

Your key stakeholders will include the Heads of various analysis teams (campaign, sales/marketing, and R&D) in Bangalore, and the product team. You will be supported by your peers and experts across many fields who will help you succeed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Performance

  • Own and execute end to end campaign management
  • Derive optimisation strategies so as to achieve campaign performance targets
  • Deep dive into massive data sets to answer key business questions using SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation languages
  • Deliver ‘Insights’ with world class standards from the data extracted
  • Ability to derive stories using compelling visuals
  • Adhere to ‘MIQ specifications’  in all the reports/data generated,  adapt to our  internal visualisation to create standard and bespoke insights
  • Support business with  ad hoc data analyses as in when  required
  • End to end portfolio management
  • Learn and understand MiQ’s data resources and know how, when, and which data sources to use

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 0 – 2 years of experience in data analysis, research, business intelligence and data warehousing tools, or comparable consumer analytics solutions
  • Advanced skills using SQL, Excel for large data set manipulation is a must
  • R and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets will be a definite plus
  • Experience in delivering any analytical and/or quantitative projects (including ability to effectively use tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, R visualisation, Excel, and Power BI etc.)
  • Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
  • For freshers, any experience during college in internship or other projects in college in the above may count as experience
